State Bound Bronco Basketball
Tickets on sale until Wednesday.
It has been a long time, seven years to be exact, since the Broncos have made it to the state playoff tournament. But they are going back this coming Friday, March 10.
At regionals in Levelland, they pulled out an upset win over number 2 ranked Anthony, then went on to defeat New Deal in the final game. This earned them the opportunity to go to San Antonio for the state playoff games.
On Friday, they will play in the semi-final game against Thorndale at the Alamodome in San Antonio at 10 a.m. For students, parents, and community to have the opportunity to travel and attend the state tournament, school will dismiss at 12:30 Thursday and classes will be canceled on Friday.
For those interested in attending the games, tickets are on sale through the administration office until Wednesday at noon. Those who have paid will have their names added to the Will Call list at the Alamodome. The cost is $16 per person (good only for Friday's game), otherwise it will be $19 at the gate. People can pick up their tickets at the North Will Call window before the game with a valid id matching the name on the list.
For tickets come by the administration office from 8:30-12 or 1-4:30. Payment must be made with cash or checks.
Go Broncos!
