PEAK Scholarship

The PEAK Scholarship Program is a combined effort between Clarendon CISD, Clarendon College, and the Clarendon College Foundation. The ultimate goal of the program is to create a $2,000,000 permanent endowment. Only the interest and revenues earned from this permanent endowment are used to pay tuition and fees at Clarendon College for eligible Clarendon High School graduates after all other forms of financial aid and scholarships are applied. 

The following requirements must be met in order to qualify for the PEAK scholarship:

High School Requirements:

  • 95% attendance record over 4-year period

  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or an 80 on a 100-point scale

  • Abide by all rules and regulations in Clarendon CISD Student Code of Conduct. Students placed in Disciplinary AEP (DAEP) will not be eligible.

  • Earn no less than 6 units of credit each school year and meet the graduation requirements of the district

  • Take the ACT/SAT no later than June after their Junior year

  • Report ACT/SAT scores, complete admission, scholarship, and financial aide applications by published deadlines and no later than May 1, prior to graduation

  • Attend all 4 years at Clarendon High School and graduate from CHS

  • Must be a US citizen (or attain citizenship prior to high school graduation)

College Requirements:

  • Register for, pass, and complete at least 12 hours each semester

  • Maintain 2.0 grade point average

  • Provide evidence of above at end of each semester

  • Obtain Associates Degree or Certificate of Completion

  • Abide by all college rules and regulations
