CHS Visits WTAMU
A day in the life...
Thirty-two juniors and seniors went to West Texas A&M for a campus visit this week. CHS was one of four schools that attended the morning session.
The day started with a greeting from Dean Hawkins, then they broke the students into groups and took them on a tour of the campus. They were able to do a scavenger hunt in the Panhandle Plains Museum, learn about the history of WT and some traditions, and they toured a dorm room to see what college life is like. After the campus tour lunch was served in the cafeteria with the college students. The day ended with a leadership activity.
The students represented Clarendon CISD with flying colors, they were respectful and that made the day great.
