CHS Places in UIL
UIL Academic teams compete in Dumas
Congratulations to CHS academic students who placed at the Dumas Duel Invitational Meet Saturday.
Philip Monds placed first in Ready Writing, with Trinity Stribling coming in 2nd in the event. The Science team of Tessa Lutters, Harmond Drenth, Grayson Burch, and Zoe Adams placed second, with Tessa placing 1st in Biology and 3rd in overall score and Harmond placing 4th overall. Zoe Adams placed 1st in the Physics portion of the contest. The Math team of Harmond Drenth, Brandon Santos, Trenton Smith, and Christian Wooten came in 3rd place as a team, with Harmond placing 5th as an individual. Alex Bilbrey placed 4th in Social Studies and Jayden Monds placed 5th in Headline Writing to round out the students who placed for the Broncos.
